University of Memphis Presidential Scholarship Requirements | Eligibility Criteria

The Cecil C. Humphreys Presidential Scholarship (University of Memphis Presidential Scholarship) is awarded to students with a minimum 30 ACT, 1330 SAT (CR+M) or 1390 SAT (ERW+M) and a 3.5 or higher cumulative high school grade point average. The Cecil C. Humphreys Presidential Scholarship is a $6,000 per year award. In addition, students receiving this scholarship receive the following benefits:

• Study Abroad or National Student Exchange Stipend of $1,000
• Assistance available for attendance at a National Conference on Undergraduate Research
• Priority consideration for the Non-Resident Honors Student Award (NRHSA)

The University of Memphis Helen Hardin Honors College offers 30 Non-Resident Honors Student Awards (NRHSA) on a competitive basis each year. This award pays out-of-state tuition fees only. The NRHSA requires a separate application and acceptance in the Honors College. The College application is available at memphis.edu/honors.
